I'm a Norwegian guy who loves music, languages and creative writing. I have a master's degree in Nordic languages from the university. I play guitar and piano and sometimes compose and record music. I live in the Western Norwegian city of Bergen, a city that often used to be an inspiration for my original creative fiction series "The Hightower Gang" (2008-2010). When I don't write, I work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (Norwegian Helsefagarbeider). I consider creative writing my second job, and I do get published from time to time; that I consider an honor as well as a proof that my writing skills are at least fairly good.
From March 2011 to September 2015, I wrote a series called "Life on Blansey", which pictures the life of people living in an island municipality and a big city on the mainland.
In January of 2013 the character Amalie Prout made her debut in the 12th "Life on Blansey" story called "Probably the Adventures of Bollockbroad, Son of Testis". That series centered around Amalie and her struggle to find love and inner peace in Battersby, the neighbor city of Sersby. The series was placed in the same universe as "Life on Blansey", and ended in October 2014.
In August 2017 I started a new series of novellas titled "The New One Stories". They feature the character The One from the "Hightower Gang" and "Life on Blansey" series and center around him atoning for his past like no man has ever atoned before.
I mostly write original fiction, but I can also on very rare occasions put together fan fiction.
Since September 2015 I have been the most prolific author on FanNation, having written and published more than 1.8 million words.
I intend to compete in 2018's NaNoWriMo challenge.
I write in both English and Norwegian (Norwegian Nynorsk).

More Known, Less Loved by Danomaly1983 New! (Reviews - 0)
In this 9th novella of "The New One Stories", Aurora's flatmate Miriam is released from a psychiatric hospital. Diagnosed with a serious mental illness, her self-esteem is critically low. Denise suggests that she, Aurora and Natalie spend the weekend giving Miriam a make-over in a bid to boost her confidence. With the women busy all weekend, The One, Sheep and Kamran decide to go on a camping trip in the forests of Kerstowe, East Battersby. It is time for deep conversations and male bonding, or, as Sheep calls it, "a cross between Blair Witch Project and Brokeback Mountain".
Aura Attention by Danomaly1983 (Reviews - 0)
In this 8th novella of "The New One Stories", Natalie, who dabbles with the occult, invites The One, Aurora, Denise, Sheep and Kamran to her large 19th century house to read their auras. What she reads compels some of them, including herself, to tell a revealing story from their past, the moment in their personal timeline when they decided not to follow the social code and expectations of their entourage. One of the stories is more shocking than the rest. In addition, The One explores the relationship with Aurora in quite unorthodox ways that transcend their mutual love to epic levels. He also makes a disturbing realization about the relationship of Josefine and her exceptionally evasive boyfriend.

He just has to avoid his brother Eric's pregnant wife Henrietta's unrelenting temptations and not give into her under any circumstances! A Farewell to Oafs by Danomaly1983 (Reviews - 0)
In this 5th novella of The New One Stories, The One is back in November of 2011 to attend his brother Eric's wedding, this time to make it right. Oblivious to his time travel and not recalling the cataclysmic events of the preceding novella "The Separation Chair", he finds himself equipped with an amazing gift that makes the women in his life quite titillated, especially Eric's new wife Henrietta and even The One's sisters Elin and Erin. It soon turns out that both Henrietta and Erin have their own marital issues to deal with. Both of them live in opulence, but they pay a hefty price for it. And a dark, disturbing secret concerning Erin will unfold. The One slowly starts suspecting that he has changed quite a bit in what he perceives as a very short amount of time. Maybe the former oaf has finally become an adult, mature and responsible individual!

In this fourth novella of The New One Stories, The One, Natalie, the Worm, Denise and Elaine are trapped in the powerful demon Threepearls' three pearl Hells, where everything is made of pearl. As a demon the Worm has the ability to cross the barriers between the three pearl Hells. The third and final pearl Hell is an impossibly vast place where the distances are bigger than in the real-world universe. Here they have to spend a very, very long time looking for Emma. Scattered across this hellish place with its smooth, white pearl surface and pitch-black sky, are millions of settlements containing billions of women wearing nothing but pearls, and their aid will prove quite helpful as the quintet leaves no stone un-turned in their search. Even if they do find Emma, getting out of Threepearls' prison will take longer than any of them can ever imagine. They all have to find a way to endure eternity, both with each other, themselves and not to mention their own sorely unfulfilled desires...

The Restless Angel by Danomaly1983 (Reviews - 0)
In this second novella of The New One Stories, The One, his twin sister Elin and his niece Emma have moved into the basement of the tavern "The Restless Angel". They travel to visit their older sister Erin in a rehab, and spend the weekend in the opulent manor of the mighty Russian Karlakov family with Psycho Stacey, the wicked stepmother of Emma's siblings Eddie and Elaine. The two teenagers are obviously mistreated by Stacey and everybody expects The One to put a stop to this! However, he realizes that there are far worse things at stake than the mental and physical health of his niece and nephew. The truth is more horrifying and messed-up than he is able to grasp - yet again his past is about to haunt him in ways he could never imagine. His life will never be the same again - the die is cast and Hell awaits him! The only flicker of light in this pitch-black shadow world is his new love interest, a kind and charming hairdresser named Denise.

A Sunny Day in Sersby by Danomaly1983 (Reviews - 10)
In this 20th and final "Life on Blansey" story, there is literally a sunny day in Sersby, something that freaks out the reprobates of the city of rain, wind and addicton. On Blansey, loathsome Drange becomes a hero when he apparently saves the island from a stinking menace. Toni and Harald, on the other hand, dispute Drange's heroism. In addition, Toni's dearest friend Stephanie has got married to math teacher Felwick, something that does not sit well with her and Denise. To make matters crazier, Arvid discovers to his horror that GG's Thai partner Panny has been hired as a farmhand on his parents' fox farm, leaving him redundant and, in his eyes, prone to disinheritance. Beer Never Screams by Danomaly1983 (Reviews - 10)
New characters are introduced in this 17th "Life On Blansey" story. First, Lupino wakes up in a tenement building in Battersby with a strange, gun-wielding man who forces him to take part in the "reversed intervention" of a psychotic woman named Margot. Second, on Blansey, Drange finds himself the assistant of the charismatic teacher Toni Leewater, one of two teachers hired by principal Harald to fill the gap after Gino's dramatic exit in the previous story. Third, the two disgruntled young women Vulva and Trampoline decide to take sexually advantage of Sam's unique predicament, with grisly results. Needless to say, there will be a lot of screaming in this story, although not from beer, because beer never screams when you drink it...
